Huvafen Fushi is the most design-forward boutique resort in North Male Atoll — a 46-villa adults-only island with striking contemporary architecture, a world-famous spa, and a house reef that has established the resort's reputation among serious divers and snorkellers. The name translates to dream island in Dhivehi, and the property has consistently delivered on that promise since opening in 2004.

Huvafen Fushi is home to the world's first underwater spa — treatment rooms submerged below the lagoon surface, with glass walls revealing reef fish and coral on three sides. A couples massage while watching parrotfish, reef sharks, and Napoleon wrasse drift past the glass is genuinely extraordinary and has made the spa one of the most celebrated in the Indian Ocean.
